Stacey Mitchell
Founder of Neuro Bloom & Teacher of the Year NI 2023
I'm a mummy, teacher, and passionate advocate for neurodivergent children and their families. With over 15 years of teaching experience and the honour of being named Northern Ireland Teacher of the Year in 2023, I have dedicated my career to helping children feel understood, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Throughout my work in education, I have seen first-hand the incredible impact that the right environment, meaningful relationships, and personalised support can have on a child's confidence, wellbeing, and development. This passion led me to create Neuro Bloom — a place where neurodivergent children can explore, learn, regulate, and thrive in ways that celebrate their individuality.
Through sensory experiences, one-to-one support, respite opportunities, and parent guidance, my goal is to help children build confidence, develop skills, and feel valued for exactly who they are.
I am passionate about supporting not only children, but the families around them. As both a teacher and a parent, I understand how overwhelming it can sometimes feel when you're trying to understand your child's needs, navigate challenges, and make sense of the advice coming from all directions.
My aim is to help families develop a deeper understanding of their child's unique strengths, needs, and experiences. Together, we can explore practical strategies, guidance, and resources tailored specifically to your child and family. Whether you're facing challenges with communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs, routines, or everyday life, I strive to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I strongly believe that when parents feel confident and supported, children thrive. Through Neuro Bloom, I hope to create a welcoming community where families can access the support, understanding, and connections they need to flourish together.
I look forward to welcoming you and your family to Neuro Bloom.
