YOU ARE NOT ALONE
Initial Parent Consultation
£80 – 90 minutes
Before any child-focused work, recommendations or parent support sessions begin
Sometimes, as a parent, you know something isn't quite right, but you're not sure where to start, what support is available, or which advice to follow.
This initial consultation is a dedicated 90-minute parent meeting designed to help us build a complete picture of your child. Together, we will explore their strengths, interests, challenges, sensory needs, communication, behaviour, development and daily experiences.
This is your opportunity to share your concerns, ask questions, and talk openly about the areas you would like support with. We will work together to identify priorities and discuss practical next steps that are tailored to your child and family's individual needs.
During the consultation, you will receive:
-
Personalised feedback and guidance
-
Practical strategies you can begin using at home
-
Recommendations for resources, visual supports and helpful services
-
Suggestions for future support, which may include 1:1 sessions, parent support, group programmes or referrals to other services where appropriate
Our aim is to help you feel more confident, informed and supported as you move forward.
Because no family should have to navigate this journey alone.
Supporting neurodivergent children starts with supporting the adults who love and care for them.
You know your child better than anyone. Yet sometimes their behaviour, sensory needs, emotions, communication, or learning profile can feel confusing, overwhelming, or simply exhausting to navigate.
Whether you are at the beginning of your journey, awaiting assessments, struggling with day-to-day challenges, or simply looking for guidance and reassurance, these sessions provide a safe and supportive space to pause, reflect, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of your child.
There is no judgement here. No expectation to have all the answers. Just practical support, compassionate guidance, and someone to walk alongside you.
Together, we will build a complete picture of your child, exploring their strengths, interests, challenges, sensory needs, communication, behaviour, development, and daily experiences. We will identify priorities, explore what's really happening beneath the harder moments, and develop meaningful goals and practical strategies tailored to your child and family.
These sessions are not about fixing your child.
They are about helping you better understand them, feel more confident in your approach, and develop strategies that support them to thrive.

Small group sizes for personalised support

A nurturing and welcoming environment
-
Sensory-rich activities designed to encourage regulation and engagement

Creating inclusive, supportive environments begins with understanding.
Drawing on extensive experience working with neurodivergent children and young people, I have developed a range of training programmes designed to equip school staff, professionals, and community organisations with the knowledge, confidence, and practical strategies needed to better support autistic learners and those with additional needs.
These training programmes provide clear, evidence-informed guidance to help participants understand autistic experiences and respond in ways that promote regulation, communication, engagement, and meaningful inclusion.
Sessions are practical, relatable, and focused on real-life application, enabling participants to implement strategies immediately within their educational, professional, or community settings.
Training can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your school, team, or organisation and may focus on areas such as:
-
Understanding autism and neurodiversity
-
Supporting regulation and emotional wellbeing
-
Communication and interaction differences
-
Sensory processing and sensory-friendly environments
-
Understanding behaviour through a neuro-affirming lens
-
Creating inclusive classrooms and learning environments
-
Practical strategies to support participation, learning, and connection
The overall aim is to empower staff and professionals with the skills, understanding, and confidence to build environments where neurodivergent children and young people feel safe, understood, valued, and able to thrive.
All training participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
